Abstract

The Barra Neighborhood Historical and Cultural Revitalization Program was developed by Tourism and Hostelry and
Architecture and Urban Design students at Universidade do Vale do Itajaí (Vale do Itajaí University) in the State of Santa Catarina, with the aim of making local population aware of their historical-cultural context and valorizing this interesting neighborhood urban environemnt, located in Balneário Camboriú,
Santa Catarina. In that municipality, Barra neighborhood is a unique place for it shows significant signs of its origin and tradition
