Abstract

The importance of Chinese economy towards the global economy, to the date, stands as an undisputed ground. Responsible for a significant portion of the world economic growth over the past three decades, China is sensing its development stamina to be diminished after 2013. In an attempt to cope with such reduction, the Chinese government has triggered a new international geo-economic projection strategy, mainly based on export investments, not only in infrastructure but also in the industry sector, a key feature, aside from economic aspects, to promote the expansion of geopolitical force in the country. In this context, the purpose of this article is to point out some potential opportunities with such change in Chinese foreign insertion strategy in order to contribute to the Brazilian economy.
